Developed a gas demand simulation using Python and a PostgreSQL database back end. The Scipy python library was used to run regression tests on historical temperature and gas pipeline data. The forecast was then used by some of the top power traders in America including JP Morgan.

Developed a website information crawler application to download publicly available temperature, pipeline, snow pack, and river flow information that would then be fed into financial simulations. The application uses the WxPython, threading, urllib, and win32all python libraries. The solution was then registered as a COM server to allow it to be used from inside Microsoft Access.

Developed a Desktop Application in Python to allow customers to subscribe to forecast data and then have it automatically downloaded and appended to a local database.

Developed a graphing application in C# and SQL Server to allow the visual tracking of forecasts over time.

Developed a power plant production capacity estimator using C# with a SQL Server back end.

Wrote an Python application to store power plant and pipeline locations in an Oracle spatial database, and then dynamically generate pdf maps off the locations.

dev.Sno-Skinz.com – A recently completed website to allow customers to upload custom graphics for printing on snow boards. Used Python on the server and Javascript on the client.

Hit2Map.com – A visitor map MySpace widget developed using mod_python and the Google Maps API. The server is apache/mod_python and it uses AJAX when customizing and viewing the maps.
